Description:

My research interests span across two separate, but related aspects of youth mental health, including a focus on (1) enhancing, training, and disseminating evidence based treatments for trauma-exposed youth.  This interest also includes a focus on clinician-level data with respect to the adoptability and adaptability of evidence-based practices in communities.  Additionally, I am interested in (2) evaluating the characteristics and effectiveness of intervention and prevention programs for victimization in general.  As a new professor during academic year 2009-2010, I am continuing to build my research program which will include a focus on cultural adaptation of evidence-based treatments for youth (specific focus on trauma treatments in Native American youth) and evaluation of those treatments.

Currently, my research lab consists of one graduate student, Molly McDonald

Notice for prospective students:

I do plan on taking on a new graduate advisee for Fall, 2010.
